- Sharing to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Email, Camera Roll, Clipboard and ability to open in other apps.
With all apps, it is important to look at the settings before you do anything else. I know that you want to jump right in, but take a few seconds to make your adjustments before your first photo edit. Simply tap on the “gear” wheel at the top of the screen: It will look like this:
As you can see above, I turned on the advanced effect settings. If you are feeling adventurous and want more control over your edit, than I suggest that you do the same. I also bumped up my image size to full resolution. Below, you will see the fine tune setting options available to you when you tap on the “tune” menu button on the bottom right of the main screen.
The settings above are pre-set when you open the app. The rest is simple. You will begin by choosing a photo from your camera roll or taking a new photo. There are sample images available for you to give you an idea of what you can do with the app.
You will see that when you select the “arrow” tab on the top left corner, the screen that you see above will appear.
I selected the following image of a ferris wheel from my personal camera roll. I want you to be able to see the before and after with the added Tangled effects.
For the ferris wheel edit, I selected the Fibers Smooth effect. The next photo is of a sunflower photo from my camera roll.
For this image, I chose to use the Brush Strokes effect. After I was done editing my image, I selected the arrow button on the top right corner to save my photo. The screen that is displayed below will appear.
It will give you the option to save the image to your photo library, copy to clipboard, and/or send to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or email. You can also open the photo in any other app if you wish to continue the editing process. Note: if you look at the top of the screen, you will see that my image is still in preview mode. If you tap on it, it will process your image to full resolution size (according to your settings).
Below is a diptic I created for you showing 4 different images edited only using TangledFX.
