There’s certainly no lack of vintage photography apps on iPhone, but one that’s caught my attention is Etchings for iPhone.
Etchings is very easy to use which is always great for people who want to knock out a great looking image quickly. For more advanced users, Etchings delivers controls that allow you to tweak the image for that perfect finish.
One of the best little features Etchings offers is “Open In…” which allows you to push your photo to any other photo editing app, in case you want to add an effect that isn’t offered in this app.
As you would expect, using Etchings is as simple as choosing a photo from your camera roll, picking a style element, and Etchings converts it into a monochromatic photo. I would have like the option to remove borders however, but I assume this will be added in a future update.

Etchings saves images at resolution of 1200 x 1200 pixels, which is decent, but MindSea, the developers of the app promise to include higher-resolution output in a future update.
