IllumiCamera, by symyksr, is an iPhone app that allows you to turn any daytime photo into a night shot….illuminated with lights! What could be more perfect right now for the holiday season! And don’t worry, this app won’t break the bank either, because it’s free!
Super easy to use, there is really no tutorial needed for this app. If anything, you’ll just want to play with the “Settings” to make any adjustments to tailor the edit to your personal style. Other than that, you can shoot a live image or upload a photo from your camera library.
You’ll find adjustments for the amount of light source, percentage adjustments for each color, and star patterns (length and amount). Simply adjust the slider bar for each and voila. If your happy with the initial settings, let it be. It’s really as easy as that. Nevertheless, don’t be fooled into thinking that any image will work with this app. You’ll quickly find that you’ll end up with a sparkle-fest of lights. This image below from IllumiCamera is just about the max amount of light effects you’d want before you teeter off the edge.
